News: Del The Funky Homosapien: “Deltron is finally finished”

Deltron 3030’s sophomore album “Deltron Event II” is one of the most anticipated releases for many hip hop enthusiasts right now. After posting a rough recording session back in 2010, we’re relieved to hear that the record is finally done. “Deltron is about to be released. Deltron is finally finished,” says Del The Funky Homosapien in an official video announcement.

“It’s gonna be lovely. I thought I was doing a little too much for a minute, [so] I pumped my breaks and pushed it back a little bit to where it was, you know what I’m sayin’. It’s music; I wanted it to be more,” says Deltron’s main man in the video, continuing with more insights about the release. Dan The Automator’s productions on this sequel are “excellent” according to Del. Third member Kid Koala isn’t mentioned in the announcement, but hopefully we can hear his cuts on “Deltron Event II” again.

Watch the video below for the full announcement concerning “Deltron Event II”, starting at 3.30 (coincidence?). The rest of the video is about other futuristic and classic sounding projects by Del, the loss of his brother, cancelling his tour twice due to illness, his relation with Ice Cube, his thoughts on dubstep, and much more.
