In this fly-on-the-wall clip, esteemed engineer and producer Young Guru illustrates the differences between artists and producers who made their name grinding it out during the pre-internet era vs. the new age of artist whose road to stardom can be drastically shorter and smoother due to technological advancements and the rise of the internet. The example he uses is of the apprentice writer who had to follow around the veteran carrying cans, playing lookout, etc., until they acquired the skills to rock a full car on their own.
