Verbz – Tight Rope / Hold it Down (The Find Premiere)

Today we bring you the premiere of the latest video from UK rapper, Verbz, as he gears up to release a new album tomorrow.

His 2017 offering with Brighton-based producer, Mr Slipz, was a laid-back, jazzy affair, but with the added edge of Verbz’s intricate wordplay perfectly married with each beat. His new album, Pathways, follows in the same vein, but with a variety of producers in the mix, including long-term Blah and Bad Taste Records affiliate, Morriarchi, the brains behind Illaman’s 2019 EP, Norm Oddity and rising production star, ArthUrr.

Today’s video is a double whammy, featuring two tracks from the album. The first, “Tight Rope,” is produced by Chuck Enzo and the second track, “Hold It Down,” features production from Norm Oddity. Both Chuck and Norm are affiliated with Group Bracil, the label behind Pathways.

While still only in their early days, Group Bracil has already blessed us with some superb releases, including last year’s acclaimed Old Paradice project from Confucius MC and Morriarchi, and the excellently titled, Slow Motion Hairstyles, which served as an introduction to the label and its artists. The video was filmed by Honey JD from Loudhouse.

Pathways is due for release tomorrow.
