Stream: Yasiin Bey & Mannie Fresh – Black Jesus

Yasiin Bey (f.k.a. Mos Def) and Mannie Fresh joined up together last year to put together a collabrative album, which is complete and should be released soon. “Black Jesus” is the first single from their joint project titled OMFGOD. Bey has long pushed the boundaries of hip hop and he does the same on this track with Mannie Fresh backing him up with some strong synths and hard drums.

Manan is from Illinois (born close to Chicago) and currently in Florida for school. His love for hip hop started with the up-and-coming Northwest scene, and has led to him become fully submerged in hip hop culture. Other interests include crate digging, ultimate (frisbee), and reading sci-fi/fantasy.
