Stan Forebee – Revision (Mix EP Premiere)
Released today, this EP (released as a full mix via The Find) shows the musical evolution of Dutch beatsmith Stan Forebee. For those who didn’t know yet, prepare to have your mind blown: ‘Stan Forebee’ is an anagram of ‘Beatsofreen’, his former alias.
All eight tracks on ‘Revision’ have been created over the course of eight years (some of which by Beatsofreen) but have never been released before. Komorebi Records: “[The EP] is all about the journey of exploration. From dusty boom bap to lo-fi to hi-fi, from classical, soul & jazzy samples to live recordings. These years have been crucial to Stan’s development as an artist, finding the right paths and building his musical identity.”
