Free Download: Oddlogic – Autumn Wilt (2011)
‘Autumn Wilt’ is a journey into ambient sounds, filled with sampled field recordings. Oddlogic experiments with different styles to create a unique sound. My personal favourite track of the album is ‘Inciser’; a relaxed beat with a lot of emotion and amazing percussion work, filtered vocal cuts and beautiful bass work.
Oddlogic is back with an autumn release, conveniently titled ‘Autumn Wilt’. It’s released on Urban Waves, a record label thats been pushing amazing talent this year. There’s a limited edition of 100 cds available for purchase, with a handmade sticker by graphic designer EMiV.
‘Autumn Wilt’ is an instrumental LP by Oddlogic, a promising and consistent young producer from the USA. The album is a journey into ambient sounds, filled with sampled field recordings. Oddlogic experiments with many different styles to create a unique sound of his own.
‘Last Dance For Napkin Lad’ is a hard-hitting drumbeat combined with sci-fi sweeps until the main theme drops in and creates a dance floor hit, followed by a downtempo bass beat. Further such creative production is found on the other songs. My personal favourite track of the album is ‘Inciser’. It’s a relaxed beat with a lot of emotion and amazing percussion work, filtered vocal cuts and beautiful bass work.
