Musicians such as The Beatles and Led Zeppelin, forever astonish us by the way they impact peoples lives emotionally. They have the power to entertain, inform and educate the world, while opening our eyes to new realms and taking us on journeys that are impossible to travel.

We couldn’t imagine a society without music. The soothing sounds of a saxophone melody, spiritual lyrics from soul singers and piano notes that feel like footsteps towards heaven. These are a few examples of rhythms that help guide our lives and see things in perspective. This attitude towards music naturally resulted in the formation of the group we now call Heaven At Night.

Ranging from composers, vocalists and DJs, the group consists of individuals with different styles and approaches towards creativity, making a specific genre difficult to find. However, the group has now found themselves comfortable within the experimental community, whom tend to appreciate the emotion and abstract nature of our music.

Their method of creating songs is a combination of both live instrumentation and sample production, merging a range of genres (such as hip hop and jazz) with a variety of themes to create a unique sound. ‘Listen to My Heart’ is an example of the diverse sounds we like to work with, such as the Hindi vocals, a soft piano and acoustic guitar helping to relieve the mind. ‘Wonderful World’ is a song about evolution. The blend of the moaning electric guitar, hip hop style drums and atmospheric transition creates the sensation of pace and seamless change in life.

Recently the very talented soulful producer DJ Ezasscul discovered Heaven At Night and signed the group to his new label Jazzy Peace Records. The debut EP ‘Enter Our Dreams…’ will be available later this year.
