Art: Phil Frost and Bob Marley
Phil Frost is a self-taught painter and sculptor from New York whose work is a complex combination of found objects (or trash, basically) with primitive and street art aesthetics. His art incorporates full of collage layers with portraits and random images, self-made patterns and typography.
Next 4/20 Bob Marley’s biopic by Kevin Macdonald (One Day in September, The Last King of Scotland) will be released theatrically and digitally, and to celebrate Frost talks about how his music has influeced him and his work process.
