Culture-mashers Ozomatli will release their brand new album ‘Fire Away’ on April 20th. Recently the L.A.-based band released a new single called ‘It’s Only Paper’, featuring soulful vocalist Jack Johnson. You can stream the song below.
According to a press release, ‘Fire Away’ is Ozomatli’s most diverse album yet. A collision of hip hop and salsa, dancehall and cumbia, samba and funk, merengue and comparsa, East LA R&B and New Orleans second line, Jamaican ragga and Indian raga – it’s impossible to label Ozomatli’s music.
