DJ Inkswel – The Cold Ghost (Guest Mix)
It never ceases to amaze me how the World Wide Web is a great place to make new musical connections. I got in touch with Chicago-based jazz quintet Mindswimmer, who connected me to Tensei. Both of whom ended up being part of our new Jazzvolution Chapter Two record. Then, via Tensei we got back in touch with Tokyo Dawn Records, who linked us to their own DJ Inkswel. And here we are: a The Find guest mix by DJ Inkswel from Australia.
The former B-boy and self-appointed “drum-machine obsessive” has previously released music on labels like BBE, Rush Hour, Dopeness Galore and others. Most recently, he produced High Tide by Planetself featuring the likes of Zion I, John Robinson and Pugs Atomz. The album is currently running as a Qrates campaign to be released on vinyl.
