Othello, who recently rebranded himself as Ozay Moore and is known for his work with Lightheaded, is featured on this smoothly produced single from Tall Black Guy’s debut album 8 Miles to Moenart.  

Both Tall Black Guy and Ozay showcase the trademark Motown sound as Ozay personifies his hometown of Detroit and touches the culture of the city as well as the current problems Detroit faces, while still maintaining a strong sense of history. Tall Black Guy adds a backdrop that serves as a homage to Detroit as well with a soulful, jazzy beat while keeping up with the city’s hip hop history.
