Essential listening right here. DJ Kenny Parker has unearthed tapes of Criminal Minded practice sessions by KRS-One on East Village Radio’s Frozen Files radio show. The Blastmaster rhyming over classic breakbeats as served by Scott La Rock and Kool DJ Red Alert.

From an early version of Boogiedown Productions’ “The Bridge Is Over,” to La Di Da Di-influenced rhymes and a human beatbox routine by D-Nice. Needless to say, this is 22 minutes worth of throwback material dating back to ’86.
