Stream: Blu & Cookbook – YES

People are hyping about Beyonce’s new stealth dropped, unannounced album, but we all know Blu is the independent master of surprises. He just dropped a collaborative EP with emcee Cookbook (of LA Symphony) via New World Color. YES consists of eight dynamic tracks produced by Blu. It’s a fun ride of soulful beats and fresh rhymes, with guest appearances by Frank Nitt, Pigeon John, and Playdough. On a side note, what’s up with the cringeworthy cover art?
