Stream: Art Pattern & Lex (de Kalhex) – Organic Extensions 7″

A while back we posted about French group Kalhex and their 12″ single that featured Grap Luva and Rob O from INI. Part of that camp is now back in action with another awesome vinyl release. This is for the fans of dusty beatstrumentals and record collectors alike as the single is limited to 300 copies. 

Two producers, Art Pattern and Lex, collected samples to rearrange them as a full composition that ebbs and flows like a full band playing psychedelic hip hop jazz fusion. Lex’s track in particular is reminiscent of early DJ Shadow and Endtroducing. Each artist is gearing up for an instrumental solo LP of their own and this 7″ single is a sign of what is to come.
