Stream: Apple Juice Kid – Beats of a Revolution
The new work by Apple Juice Kid is part of the Poetic Portraits of a Revolution project inspired by the last year uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt.
PPR consists of a theatrical performance, a poetic album and Apple Juice Kid’s original beats. This project gathers spoken-word poets, youth educators and visual artists and has been produced by the Academy Award-winning documentary film organization Empowerment Project, known for their support to media activism since the 80s.
