Most notably with Reinforced Records (being at the forefront of the Jungle/DnB scene in the 90s) and 4Hero (note to friends: their re-edit of Minnie Riperton’s Les Fleurs on both my wedding day and my funeral, please) together with production partner Dego.
On top of that, there are even grade-A hip-hop beats. The jazz-influenced Dirty Old Hip Hop under his pseudonym of Visioneers is another personal favorite (thank god for 2017’s reissue). And these recent instrumental records mark a Return of the Mac and his hip-hop beatmaking:
