Mannie Fresh linked up with Yasiin Bey a couple years ago to work on an album titled OMFGOD. Since then, we’ve only heard a few studio sessions and one single. That’s it. No album – yet.

Mannie Fresh linked up with Yasiin Bey a couple years ago to work on an album titled OMFGOD. Since then, we’ve only heard a few studio sessions and one single. That’s it. No album – yet.

A couple weeks ago Mannie Fresh was interviewed by Ali Shaheed Muhammed (of ATCQ) and Frannie Kelly from NPR Microphone Check where he liberated the second single off the album, “Let’s Go.” With Mannie Fresh’s trademark bounce sound and a crazy beat switch, Yasiin sounds just as great as he did 5 years ago on the release of The Ecstatic. Here’s to hoping we get to see OMFGOD released soon. Let’s go!
