Jelee (quite the opposite of Blu: “if you see the E drop ’em add ’em”) is a producer from Amsterdam. His beats float somewhere between the worlds of hip-hop, jazz, ambient, and electronic music.
His official debut 7″ is like a portfolio presentation of exactly that. “Yesterday’s Art” is a sample-heavy downtempo beat, while “Paraluna” shifts to a faster pace full of bass and synths, with offbeat playfulness.
