Free MP3: Sango – Nujabes Juke

The good people over at Soulection present a new track by producer Sango, titled “Nujabes Juke”. Don’t let the title fool you, because this bass-heavy upbeat track is nothing like Nujabes‘ soulful, melody driven soundscapes.

“Nujabes Juke” is a perfect example of Sango’s diversity. This time he takes a sample from Minmi’s “Shiki no Uta” off the original Samurai Champloo soundtrack, produced by the late great Nujabes. Sango turns it into an uptempo Chicago juke influenced gem, accompanied by an altered Soul Train video (below). We can’t wait to hear what Sango’s next LP, North, has got in store.
