PreciseHero is an emcee from Detroit with tendencies leaning towards observations, stylized reality and surrealism. His new project Wide-Eyed Serial is his oddest release so far according to himself. An abstract piece that’s hard to define as one genre, but it’s a beautiful curated exhibit of hobbies, interests, experiments and personal influences. PreciseHero is the nom de plume attached to all his creative endeavors. Not only as emcee, but also as hobbyist photographer (package design of ‘Wide-Eyed Serial’ too), videographer and writer of short stories. ‘Wide-Eyed Serial’ is his first release after a hiatus since 2010 and shows where he is at creatively after his semi-retirement.
After releases on Japanese label P-Vine Records, Revolutionary Recordings and other labels, this is a project on his own imprint WonderKind 202. Download the song ‘Circles’ below, or purchase the full album. A physical release is coming in the first week of the new year.
