Free MP3: Dragon Fli Empire – The Daily News Pt. 2 (ft. Sadat X)

Canadian hip hop duo Dragon Fli Empire hooked up with veteran emcee Sadat X (of Brand Nubian) for “The Daily News Pt. 2.” The song is a follow-up to Sadat X’s “The Daily News” from 2005. This sequel off Dragon Fli Empire’s upcoming album Mission Statement mocks the current state of media and pop culture with sneering lyrics and satirical commentary.

AJV laces jazz-influenced melodies on keys over the catchy beat by DJ Cosm, and Teekay and Sadat X come correct as always. Stay tuned for Dragon Fli Empire’s fourth full-length record, Mission Statement, dropping soon.
