French producer Somepling sampling some smooth samples on ‘Properly Packed’. That tongue twister sums it up pretty well: Somepling’s work isn’t just done with easy sample usage assisted by a basic drumkit, but it’s a bit more complex than that. Flipping samples and chopping them up, complemented by refreshing beats with an evident feel for skill.
