Luisterwaar is returning with a new solo project entitled “Illuminants”. Luisterwaar’s previous release on Saturate Records became a personal future beat classic for me instantly. Luisterwaar creates a world full of melody, crunchy beats and basslines.
This will be a more experienced sound than we’re used to from the Dutch producer. Using everything in his arsenal of future sounds. Using field recordings, found sounds or using a synthesizer. “Illuminants” has a bit more depth than his previous release. Time and space are tested with polyrhythmic beats. Luisterwaar is on the forefront of a blooming music genre that takes headset music to the clubs.
