Brother Ali was one of the first artists that really put me on to alternative hip hop. Ever since hearing the honesty and positive thinking presented in his rhymes and metaphors on albums like “Rites of Passage” and “Shadows On The Sun”, I’ve been hooked to his progressive and unique style. 

It is wonderful to see an artist like Brother Ali making waves in the hip hop world. He now forms an integral part of the highly respected Rhymesayers crew which has given him a platform for international touring, major record distribution and most critically, an avenue to reach the ears of millions of forward thinking hip hop heads around the globe.

This new album, “The Bite Marked Heart”, promises introspective messages and perspective on the notion of love, relationships and more to go along with Valentine’s Day.
